Am I Fat ?

                 This is a question that most of us are asking to ourselves everyday. Unfortunately for most of us the answer goes as Yes! In the present world so many people are suffering from Diabetes, Heart Conditions, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, and so on. Most of the cases are due to bad eating habits and less Exercises. Our body works as a Machine. If we ignored it's conditions the body would face above conditions. 'Control' is the Key to attain a Healthy and a Beautiful Body.

                 When I was in High School I never bothered on how I looked. I was a Food lover. And my Grandmother loved Cooking for us. So eventually I started to eat everything I get even when I was not hungry. This made me Fat and fatter. Since my Mother is also an Overweight lady I thought its because of my Genes. That was where I went wrong. I never recognized what a harm I was doing to myself by treating my tummy with lots of sweets and fatty Snacks. So I grew Fat as Ever. I was not a sport lover. I loved to sit and read or to watch TV. And usually I ate several Snacks while I'm reading or watching the TV. Sometimes I took Several Full meals as well. I was literally damaging myself.. You can say I Grew lazy eventually and I slept long hours in the day or in the evening and most of the days I was awake at night. Since I was up and alone at nights I started to repeat my bad habits so I gained Some more weight by the morning. This was repeated for years without me recognizing how awful it is to be fat. My father had Diabetes and I never thought even I have the chance of getting it. Then awaking me up from a long deep dark fantasy, my father fell really sick. He had developed a Kidney failure and a heart condition due to diabetes. Unfortunately he couldn't make it, He past away due to these fatal medical conditions. this was shocking to me. I never realized where I was heading until then. That was when I wanted to change myself, to go down, to lose some weight for betterment. 

                    It was not so easy since I had lot of body fat piled around my body. My eager for food was the biggest challenge. And I really didn't wanted to go to a gym. The college Changed my attitude towards many things in my life. Luckily I got this Awesome Caring Friends who were the exact opposite of me. They loved Sports, Exercising, Dancing etc.. They always watched what they eat or how much they ate. I learned some valuable lessons from  them. And yes there is a one huge Thank Goes to them always for cheering me up and encouraging me on my success. I started to control my diet. Before around 80% of what I ate was Carbs. I cut down lots of carbs and replaced my unhealthy snacks with fresh fruits which contained more fibers and Vitamins. I stopped eating Fried stuff (trust me it was not easy). Then I started controlling my Sweet tooth. Replacement of lean meat for red fatty meat, sweets for fruits, carbonated drinks to Tea or water, snacks to fresh fruits and tea brought a huge difference. I dropped few dress sizes and this motivated me more. I started to go to a gym, did Yoga and always took the steps and started walking rather than taking a bus. Well yes it really brought a huge difference to my dull life. I completed my Degree(Biotechnology, biochemistry and genetics) with a First Class and was so happy for myself .

                    well that was not the end! I know its so embarrassing but this happens to most of us. I stated putting on again after my marriage. I was heading back to a Fat life once again. Am I Fat?? this was the Question I asked myself everyday. Then again I started a plan. This time It was More organized, fun (not always!), and finally really worked. I lost 11 lbs in less than 4 weeks. and dropped 2 dress sizes and feel happier again. So I thought to renovate my old Blog and share some valuable information and tips  with all those who seeks for a great shape, and with all those who stops by..
